Kartika Paramita

Kartika Paramita is an illustrator and surface pattern designer from Indonesia, who began her creative journey with a personal project illustrating Eid Mubarak envelope designs in 2018, which caught the attention of several major brands. Based near Jakarta and building her practice since 2013, she experimented with watercolour, gouache, oil pastels and crayons before taking the leap into full-time illustration in early 2023 — famously painting in the quiet hours of the night while her baby sleeps. Her work spans landscapes, culinary delights and motivational quotes, all brought to life with a palette of rich, colourful hues.
